Das

Das has some of the best Ethiopian food I've had to date. My favorite dish would be the Das Combination Chicken & Beef Entrée Sampler (Chicken Doro Watt, Beef Kaey Watt, Beef Alicha and Beef cubes Segana Gomen). How can you go wrong with tasting platters? The spices are incredible which barely captures the combinations and differences between each specialty. This is a hands on dish - literally. They provide you with rolls of this kind of spongy, slightly tart bread which you can use to scoop up the different meats and beans.

When I first went to D.C., I didn't know what to expect in terms of culinary experiences. As our nation's capital, D.C. has many foreign visitors to support a diverse range of cuisines. Since going to Das and a few other restaurants, which you can find on the USA page (more to come), I know I'll be back to explore some more.
